Sir,
I am directed to acknowledge the receipt of
your letter of 11th October, 1938, on the subject of
the cost of administering the Hong Kong Travel
Association and to inform you that the views of the
Chamber have been noted, but that in the present
circumstances the Government is unable to assume any
further liabilities in connection with the financing
of the Travel Association.
